A little about me

Hi there! I'm Ailing Lu, a UX designer with backgrounds in interactive design, motion media design, product design, and illustration. I think human emotions are very delicate, changeable. Therefore, I would like to further explore emotional design to find the balance and build the connection between humans and devices.

I hold an M.F.A degree in Interactive Design and an M.A. degree in Motion Media Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, and a B.F.A. degree in Product Design from China Academy of Art. I also work as a freelancer and do some part-time jobs in different design fields to practice my abilities and skills in my spare time. I hope I can use these hybrid skillsets to build my future better.

I enjoy challenges and the process of exploring new ideations. I always can keep curious and full of energy. I have a habit to manage my time using task lists, and enjoy this sense of feeling, like an achievement when I completed the step by step. Besides work and study, I also like traveling and painting. When I arrive at a new landscape, I want to preserve these landscapes and the good mood that accompanies them through my own brush. That is the part of my life and one of the reasons why I keep looking forward to the future.
