A-trip
An interactive trip planner which can help users create and change route plans quickly and find partners to travel together.
Project Overview
The source of the pain point is that I, as a person who likes to travel, always take time to rebuild the trip because of the unexpected situation during the trip, which affects the overall time and mood. Through my interviews and questionnaires, I found that both students and workers will encounter this situation nearly in every trip. Throughout the creation of A-Trip, I conducted several remote and in-person interviews with people around 18-50 years old, who like or want to have a trip.

Problem Statement
At present, there are many travel-related apps and websites on the market, such as Ctrip, Airbnb, booking, Qunar, Wasp nest, etc. Some of them focus on the function of booking air tickets, some of them focus on the function of hotel reservation, and the function of communication among travelers. How- ever, no software can integrate the specific needs of users to plan routes belonging to different travelers. But is travel planning a multi-dimensional thing? It's the unification of all the tedious things. So at present, when users make their own travel plans, they usually need to spend several days or even weeks to compare routes, check strategies, sort out sequence logic, calculate travel time, and make emergency plans. Moreover, in the process of travel, if any part of the plan has problems, such as the time exceeds expectations, or the city is experiencing heavy rain, users need to spend a lot of time adjusting and changing their plans. This will greatly affect the mood of travel, but also affect the normal work and living arrangements.
