A handy assistant for international students in accident management.
Project Overview
Our project focused on the Chinese international student population in Savannah to help them better cope with their problems when facing car accidents.
Through six weeks of research and analysis, we found that the most important issues that Chinese students need to address when dealing with accidents center on the communication aspect, including linguistic barriers, clarity of expression, and limited social networks.

Problem
International students, such as Chinese students, will encounter many problems during their life in the United States. In our survey, more than half of the international students said that accident handling is one of the most difficult problems they encountered.
Solution
The solution for our project is an app with three integrated functions: accident assistant, auto repair store selection and reservation, and community communication.
The app can improve communication efficiency by integrating personal information of car owners and information related to the accident scene, and adding a real-time voice translation function to avoid misunderstanding of communication.
